Just for fun, "a little something extra." Some oldies-but-goodies, creative concepts, and things that may make you smile.
LSU Health Sciences Center
LSU's Health Sciences Center needed an awareness campaign about their state impact during the rebuilding following Hurricane Katrina, specifically aiming to reach alumni. We had them at purple and gold.
PICCADILLY Catering
With home-style cooking and fast affordable catering offerings for the holidays, we knew Piccadilly was the perfect holiday hack for so many people out there. These relatable characters fall into the "funny cause it's true" bucket for me.
Your Friend in the Frenzy
Jones Swanson Huddell & Garrison L.L.C.
Every once in a while, I give copywriting a whirl.
Regional Transit Authority
It turns out public transportation solves a lot of problems that are already on people's minds. They just need a reminder that the answer is right in front of them, literally. These were at the print house when Katrina hit, so sadly, they never got to do their thing.
Louisiana SPCA
The SPCA battled some pretty big misperceptions, which were affecting contributions. This awareness campaign combated any ideas that it's a government-run, inhumane animal jail with some attention grabbing, memorable spokespets. We also gave them a friendlier new logo that fit the "Big House of Love" vibe.
Peter Mayer Holiday Card
This was a fun collaboration with my sister and illustrator extraordinaire, Katie Reim. The agency always sent out a holiday message, but to close out the first full year after Hurricane Katrina, people still needed something light. These silly little guys get me every time.
Peter Mayer 4th of july Poster
We also sent out July 4th posters every year, and I recently saw this one still hanging in a game room of one our tourism clients. A fun fact about me is that while I'm not one of those people who laughs when a real person falls down, I find it hilarious when it happens to stick figures.

It's the least I can do to keep him alive.
